GMAT Official Guide是每一个考GMAT的学生必须具备的书籍。里面的每一道题目最好做2遍以上（尤其是错题，一定要好好分析体会）。很多同学告诉我，OG的答案不够清楚。事实上，OG的有些讲解试图绕开一些需要补充的知识，例如什么是溯因推理，分词的用法等等，因此往往显得不够清晰。因此，我想我每天抽出一些时间，写一道OG的题目，帮助大家学习。

这是一道简单题，我在看句子的时候虽然也没看懂virginal是什么东西，但应该是一种乐器。另外看到unlike/like，你应该立即兴奋起来，这已经是第二次我们遇到这个GMAT考点了。

以下是第5题中我讲过了的：

As/like/unlike是GMAT常考的一组词，如果你之前不熟悉，从今天开始，你看到他们就用该pay attention，就像条件反射一般：

Like/unlike A, B ….
As A does, B….

(1) 首先，like/unlike是介词，后面跟名词（短语），而as表达“像”这个意思只能是连词(conjunction)因此后面必须有一个助动词。

(2) A,B两者要有可比性。

(3) Just like/just as都是redundant – 像就是像，“就像”重复啰嗦

这里两个逗号之间的whose single set of strings runs parallel to the front edge of the instrument是插入语，跳过，virginal和the harpsichord's several sets of strings不具备可比性，因此A错误。

快速扫描，同样的错误排除B,C,E

因此答案是D.
简单题的特征就是同一个错误可以排除几乎所有选项。这题30秒就应该搞定。
